- Every line has a price, an expected effect on value, and a recommended or optional flag.
- Mechanical, cosmetic, detailing, photography and video, documentation, transport, certification.
- Nothing chargeable happens on a line you have not approved. Change orders follow the same rule.
- Subcontracted paint, upholstery or machine work is quoted as its own line.

About the certificationTransport
Arranged, not operated.
Drive the car in, or ask us to book an insured carrier. When we arrange it we act as your agent; the carrier's charge is billed through at cost as a line on your estimate. The carrier's insurance covers the truck leg, our garage-keepers coverage takes over when we sign the intake record. We do not own trucks.

We never take title. We are not the auction house.
Your car stays titled to you the whole time it is with us. We do not buy, consign, broker or sell it, and there is no bidding on gotohammer.com. You list the car on Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, Mecum or another venue under your own account, set your own reserve, and keep the whole hammer price less the venue's fee. Our job ends when the certified car leaves the shop.
